: -Do you have any suggestions for the following:
: 1) A Mage casts Borrow Body, and then one of the bodies die... what happens with the minds/spirits/and the body of the other?
: 2) Certain Magics, Items etc. seem to have an "always happens" in it's descriptions, but if there are two conflicting "always happens" how should this be taken care of? Is there a Hierarchy of effects? (ie. Cast Magic overrides the effect of a Magic Item)
Hi, Brataal
OK, The Borrow Body spell- What happens to the host's mind/spirit? At the casting of the spell, the hosts mind (and spirit) are transfered to the mage's body, as per the book. Essentially, the two minds transfer. If the host body is killed while the mage's
essence is occupying it, the mage's mind and the hosts body die together. This traps the host's mind in the mage's body. The host now lives out the rest of his/her/its life in the mage's body. The reverse is also true: If the mage's body is killed while occupied
by the hosts mind, then the mage is trapped in the host's body. Hope that helps.
Now your second question- I could use a specific situation... can you give me an example where two items or spells directly cancel each other out?
